Make a temperature shawl scarf or blanket

My BIG project last year (2022) was been to make a temperature blanket and it was an amazing experience.  It was a fantastic opportunity to really be present in my life on a really fundamental level.  I was checking the temperature daily.  I have exhibited my shawl quite a lot and have received such a lot of lovely feedback, so I wanted to share my process with you.

All of my data comes from the WeatherSpark website for Norwich Airport (their nearest data point to my home) and I used the maximum temperature for that 24 hr period.

My project was to make a shawl, the finished garment will be aprox 23" or 60cm wide by 80" or 200cm long, but you can make it as wide or as narrow as you want.  Using 4 ply yarn and knitting 2 rows a day it will always come out aprox 175cm long.
