Thanks so much for your support. This pattern is available as a lovely PDF from my store here, with links to video tutorials, or you can enjoy the free version here.
All my patterns are available to my "Knitters in the Know" Patreons.
This hat was designed as a birthday gift for my glorious friend Esther. She has taken to “wild camping” and as she feels the cold something terrible I thought she needed a stylish but warm hat for her autumn & spring outings.
There are videos for all the techniques used on my YouTube Channel, in the Ether Hat playlist, and embedded here.
You can download the pdf pattern, by clicking the buy link

Cut yarn about 15cm from work. Thread onto a tapestry needle and pick up each stitch onto the thread to cast off into a circle. Pass thread into the inside of the hat and knot and weave in ends. (If knitting flat cut off 30cm cast off as above then stitch down edges to make into the hat. Stitch down to the brim in colour 2, and use the initial cast on tail in colour 1 to join the brim.)
Add a Pom Pom using both colours to finish.
